Daria

A beauty-booking marketplace. Search, discover, and book in seconds.

Daria

Overview

Daria's homepage centers on one interaction. A combined search bar asks for service and location: 'Coiffeur, massage, manucure...' next to 'Paris, Lyon...'. Quick-filter chips sit right below it, for the most common categories: facials, nails, spa, waxing, hair, makeup.

It's a two-sided marketplace by design. Customers get a discovery-and-booking flow. Businesses get a separate 'PRO' entry point and a 'Référencer mon établissement' flow. Salons need different tools than customers do, so the site treats them as two different products, not one generic funnel.

Everything is written and designed in French, for the French local-services market. The copy, the category names, and the photo-led hero all speak to a French beauty-and-wellness audience from the first line, not a product translated after the fact.

The problem

Local beauty businesses are scattered across individual sites, social media, and phone bookings. Customers want one place to compare and book, the way they already do for restaurants or rides. Businesses need a simple way to get listed.

The approach

A marketplace built around one combined search bar for service and location. It leads straight into salon discovery and booking. A parallel PRO surface lets businesses list themselves, and the whole product is French-first.

Key features

  • Combined service and location search as the main homepage interaction, not a generic hero button
  • Quick-filter chips for the most common services: facials, nails, spa, waxing, hair, makeup
  • A distinct PRO entry point and a 'Référencer mon établissement' flow for business owners
  • Fully French product copy and UX, built for the French market instead of translated later
  • An editorial, photo-led hero design built for a beauty-and-lifestyle audience
